The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) is an exciting, three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers. The schedule includes keynote addresses and workshop sessions addressing a wide variety of topics. There are also opportunities for liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park.
We are beginning the planning stage of our next pilgrimage to NCYC in Indianapolis right now. NCYC will take place November 21-24, 2019. While the date may seem a long way off, we must start planning now. We are very proud of the fact that we were able to fundraise our way to Indianapolis with only minimal cost incurred by those who attended. We hope to do the same again. However, it will take a lot of help to do this.
NCYC is open to all youths who will be in high school during the 2019-2020 school year. That means any current 8th thru 11th graders will be able to attend.
Highlights of NCYC
Over 23,000 high school students and chaperones attended the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indy on November 16-18, 2017. The Diocese of Superior was represented with 250 youth and adults. St Francis was represented by 38 youth and adults. Thank you to all youth and adult chaperones who shared in the NCYC experience. It was a blessing to grow in faith together!
$175 deposit and paperwork is due February 15th.
